Cleaning service company
GAM-I is being used by a cleaning service company in a steel factory to remove frequent spills from the furnaces. Dust gets stored on working areas, derricks and high platforms, cooling areas etc. It is also being used to clean the inside of filters, silos or boilers.
Previously these jobs were performed manually by a team of 6 workers. Manual cleaning was slow and expensive, which finally led to the decision to purchase the Ecogam truck. GAM-I has made it possible to reduce the working force to only 2 operators who can clean the same areas in less than half the time.
The savings obtained are close to 40%, reaching 70% after repayment in just 5 years. The calculations are the following: amortization + operating expenses for the truck are equal to a company cost of 1.5 operators. If we add the cost of 2 workers employed to handle the equipment, this makes 3.5 operators vs. 6 operators involved in the manual process.
The cleaning company has been able to pass part of these savings on to the final customer, applying a lower rate for its services. The steel company has also managed to prevent costly shutdowns of the production process due to blockages and obstructions, thereby increasing its productivity.

Cement group
A cement group has decided on the acquisition of a GAM-III SS truck for each of plants they are currently operating, in each case employing its own maintenance staff to handle the equipment. Vacuum cleaning will help to remove cement and clinker from mills, elevator pits, galleries, cooling areas, silos, etc., as well as raw material (sand, limestone,…) spilled from production process.
Using GAM-III SS has meant a reduction in the cleaning workforce from 12 to 4 operators in each of the plants, now working in 2 shifts of 8 hours. The decision to buy the equipment instead of subcontracting the service is due to the intention of relocating workers with longstanding experience in cleaning jobs, while at the same time, improving their working conditions.
From the very beginning, savings obtained by each plant amount to 50%, reaching 70% after repaying the equipment. In this case, the monthly leasing fee + operating expenses for the truck are equal to the cost of 2 operators, which added to the team of 4 workers maintained as cleaning staff, makes a total of 6 operators instead of the 12 previously employed.
Another interesting benefit is the recovery of non-contaminated finished product. Since the GAM-III SS is equipped with a pumping system, frequent cement spillages that had to go through the production process for a second time to be reused are now easily collected and pumped back into a silo.

City council - Urban cleaning service company
Our multiservice van ECOGAM CITY has been the solution chosen by a city council to perform several vacuum maintenance jobs. In autumn, the equipment is operated continuously for cleaning a large number of garden areas within the municipality. Before its acquisition, fallen leaves had to be blown to the edge of the roads and then collected by a “sweep” team or by a sludge cleaning unit. The enormous volume of leaves and the limited storage capacity of the machines used made the job very slow, with frequent stops for unloading.
The problem has been solved using the new multiservice ECOGAM CITY. Fallen leaves in parks, gardens and sidewalks are blown and immediately vacuumed dry by a single piece of equipment in a very short time. No additional water is required to clean drainage sewers and scuppers full of leaves and debris that prevent drainage in the event of rain, making their removal more efficient and ecological. Once inside the container, they get compacted by pressure and packed in disposable bags (up to 40 Kg of leaves in bags of 250 litres volume). After the bags are full, they are left on the floor for collection. The operator does not interrupt his work.
